FAQ
frequently asked questions
How experienced are you with capturing events?
Jarrett finished film school in 2011 and started professionally capturing events the following year. Since then, we’ve filmed over 200 weddings and events. We’re comfortable, confident and equipped to capture the moments that matter to you.
How would you describe your style?
We like to think of ourselves as "the little black dress" of wedding cinematography. Our films are crafted with creativity, excellence and heart—and should always feel timeless. We capture the feeling of your day and aim to help you relive it through the emotions of you, your partner and the people you love.
How much does it cost?
Transparency is our promise to you, so you can view all of our collection prices on our pricing page. We offer three wedding collections and add-ons to customize. Most couples spend between $5000 and $8,000 on their wedding cinematography. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have more questions about pricing.
After you contact us to make sure your date is available, booking us is simple. You’ll sign a contract, which can be done digitally right from your computer. Then, a $1500 non-refundable deposit paid by credit card, cash or check can be paid online or by mail. Once the contract is signed and the deposit received, the date is yours.
How do we book you for our wedding or event?
Can we choose our own music?
We always welcome your music suggestions. In fact, your input makes your film better. However, we can only use music we can purchase the license for. All of our couples are welcome to look through curated music choices we've created on music licensing sites like The Music Bed.
How long does it take to get my film?
Your online, digital wedding film will be available three months after your wedding day. During the busy season, extras like full ceremony or reception edits are guaranteed within six month.
Will I notice you FILMING during my wedding?
We hope our presence on your wedding day is a comfort rather than a distraction. We aim to be a helpful and present guide when you need it, and a background character when you don’t.
There are times you might notice us more, like during reception speeches and one-on-one filming. There’s also venues where we need to put up lights in a dark reception hall so you look your best, which you’ll see. We’re honored our couples trust we’re using our experience and knowledge to skillfully capture their wedding day.
Do you work well with photographers?
Yes! We pride ourselves on working in sync with your photographer to help each other shine. When your photographer feels comfortable and supported working with us, it shows in your video and your photos. It’s a win-win.
While people often worry how the photographer and videographer will work together, it’s helpful to realize that videographers rarely, if ever, film a wedding without a photographer. It’s second nature for us.
Photographing a wedding with a videographer is a different experience for photographers, so it’s a good idea to ask them about their experience level working with a video team. Each photographer’s experience and comfort level will vary.
